About Siskiyou County Special Education
Siskiyou County Special Education is a comprehensive program that provides a wide range of services to meet the individual needs of students with disabilities. The program works to ensure that all students have access to a free and appropriate public education, regardless of their disability. The Special Education Department works closely with parents, teachers, and administrators to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
The Special Education Department also provides a variety of services to help students with disabilities reach their full potential. These services include speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and psychological services. In addition, the department provides support for students with learning disabilities, including individual and group counseling, behavior intervention, and academic intervention.
The Special Education Department is committed to providing quality services to ensure that all students with disabilities receive the best possible education. The department works to ensure that all students have access to the necessary resources to reach their educational goals. The Special Education Department is dedicated to helping students with disabilities reach their fullest potential and become successful, contributing members of society.
