About Kern County Community
Kern County Community is a vibrant and diverse region located in the heart of California’s Central Valley. The county is home to over 890,000 people and is the most populous county in California outside of the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Kern County is home to many different cities, towns, and communities, each with its own unique character and charm.
Kern County is known for its agricultural production, which includes grapes, citrus, almonds, and cotton. The county is also home to a number of oil and gas production facilities, making it one of the leading energy-producing counties in the state.
Kern County is also home to several universities, including California State University Bakersfield, Bakersfield College, and Cerro Coso Community College. The county has a thriving arts scene, with numerous galleries, theaters, and music venues. There are also several parks and outdoor recreation areas, such as Lake Isabella, Kern River, and Sequoia National Forest.
