About Independence High (Continuation)
Independence High offers a variety of extracurricular activities to help students develop interests outside of the classroom. The school has an extensive art program, with classes in painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture. The school also offers a wide range of sports, including football, basketball, baseball, and soccer. In addition, there are many clubs and organizations, such as the student government, the debate team, and a robotics club.
The school also has a strong focus on community involvement. Every year, the school organizes a number of service projects and events, such as a food drive, a clothing drive, and a blood drive. Students are encouraged to get involved in these activities to give back to their community and to learn more about the importance of social responsibility.
