About University Preparatory High School
University Preparatory High School (UPHS) is an innovative, college preparatory school located in the heart of the city. Our mission is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to succeed in college and beyond. We offer a rigorous, college-preparatory curriculum that is designed to challenge and engage our students. Our curriculum includes honors and AP courses, as well as a wide range of electives and extracurricular activities.
At UPHS, we believe in creating an environment that fosters academic excellence, creativity, and collaboration. We strive to create an atmosphere that encourages students to think critically, develop strong problem-solving skills, and work together to reach their goals. Our faculty and staff are committed to providing a challenging and supportive learning environment that prepares our students for success in college and beyond.
We recognize that each student is unique and has different needs and interests. We strive to meet the individual needs of our students through a variety of services and programs. We offer academic counseling, tutoring, and mentoring to ensure that our students have the support they need to succeed.
