About Stockton Early College Academy
Stockton Early College Academy (SECA) is an innovative high school program located in Stockton, California. It is a public charter school that offers students the opportunity to earn both a high school diploma and an Associate’s degree in four years. SECA was founded in 2008 with the goal of providing students with the opportunity to earn a college degree without the financial burden of traditional college tuition.
SECA’s curriculum is based on a rigorous college-preparatory program that includes courses in math, science, English, social studies, foreign language, and the arts. Students also have the opportunity to take classes at local community colleges, allowing them to earn college credits while still in high school.
In addition to academics, SECA students are provided with a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs, including robotics, sports, and the arts. These activities allow students to explore their interests and develop skills that will help them succeed in college and beyond.
