About Sonoma County Special Education
Sonoma County Special Education provides students with a variety of educational services to meet their unique needs. With a focus on providing a supportive learning environment, the district offers a range of programs and services that can help students with disabilities reach their full potential.
The district employs a variety of special education professionals, including teachers, counselors, and therapists, who work closely with families to identify and meet the individual needs of each student. Special Education teachers use a variety of instructional strategies and materials to help students learn and make progress in their academic goals. The district also provides a range of related services, such as speech and language therapy, physical therapy, and occupational therapy.
The district also works closely with local community organizations to provide resources and support for students and their families. Through partnerships with local organizations, the district is able to provide additional services and support, such as after-school programs, summer camps, and recreational activities.
