About Schurr High School
Schurr High School is an accredited public high school in Montebello, California. It is part of the Montebello Unified School District and serves grades 9-12. The school opened in 1961 and is named after former Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Robert Schurr.
Schurr High School is committed to providing a quality education to all students. The school offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes core classes, Advanced Placement courses, and college preparatory classes. Schurr High School also offers a variety of extracurricular activities and clubs, including sports, music, drama, and student government.
Schurr High School has a long tradition of excellence. It has been awarded the California Distinguished School Award multiple times and has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School.
