About San Juan

San Juan is the capital and largest city of Puerto Rico. Located on the northern coast of the island, it is the oldest city on the island and one of the oldest cities in the Americas. San Juan is known for its vibrant culture, stunning beaches, and colonial architecture.
The city is home to many historic sites, including El Morro, a 16th-century Spanish fort, and Castillo San Cristobal, a massive fortress built to protect the city from attacks. San Juan is also home to the San Juan National Historic Site, which is the largest collection of Spanish colonial architecture in the world.
San Juan is a major tourist destination, with a wide variety of attractions and activities. The city is home to numerous art galleries, museums, and theaters, as well as a vibrant nightlife. Visitors can explore the city’s many beaches, enjoy a variety of water sports, or take a day trip to nearby El Yunque National Forest.
