About Orville Wright Elementary School

Orville Wright Elementary School is a public school located in the city of Dayton, Ohio. It is named after the Wright brothers, Orville and Wilbur, who are credited with inventing the first successful aircraft. The school was established in 1959 and currently serves over 600 students in grades K-5.
At Orville Wright Elementary School, the mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment in which students can develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become college and career ready. The school focuses on the whole child, providing a rigorous and relevant curriculum that meets the needs of each and every student. The teachers at Orville Wright Elementary School are highly qualified and dedicated to helping their students reach their full potential.
