About Los Angeles Leadership Academy
Los Angeles Leadership Academy (LALA) is an innovative public charter high school located in the heart of Los Angeles. Founded in 2011, LALA is dedicated to providing an equitable and rigorous college-preparatory education to students from all backgrounds and communities. LALA’s mission is to create a learning environment that is student-centered, culturally responsive, and academically rigorous, while also providing a safe and supportive environment for students to thrive.
At LALA, students are empowered to take ownership of their learning and become active participants in their own education. The school’s unique approach to teaching and learning combines project-based learning, small group instruction, and a focus on developing leadership skills. LALA also offers a variety of extracurricular activities and opportunities for students to get involved in their community.
