About Chico High School

Chico High School is a public high school located in Chico, California. Founded in 1887, it is the oldest high school in Butte County and the second oldest in the state. The school is part of the Chico Unified School District and serves students in grades 9-12.
Chico High School is known for its strong academic programs and extracurricular activities. The school offers a wide range of Advanced Placement (AP) classes, as well as a variety of electives and career and technical education courses. Athletics are a big part of school life and the school offers a variety of sports, including football, basketball, soccer, baseball, softball, and track and field.
The school also has a number of clubs and organizations for students to participate in, such as the National Honor Society, Student Council, and the Future Business Leaders of America. Chico High School also has a strong commitment to community service, with students regularly volunteering in the local community.
