About Southwood Elementary School
Southwood Elementary School is a vibrant, diverse learning environment located in the heart of the city. With an enrollment of over 500 students, Southwood provides a safe and nurturing atmosphere for children to learn and grow. At Southwood, we believe that every student is unique and deserves an education tailored to them. Our teachers are passionate about providing individualized instruction and support to each student, and our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of every learner. We offer a variety of programs, including a strong core academic program, physical education, art, music, and technology classes. At Southwood, we also value the importance of building strong relationships with our students and families. We believe that this is essential for student success and for creating a positive school climate. We offer a variety of family engagement activities, such as parent-teacher conferences, family nights, and open houses. At Southwood, we strive to create a learning environment that is engaging, supportive, and inspiring.
