About Lafayette County High School
Lafayette County High School is a public high school located in Oxford, Mississippi. It is part of the Lafayette County School District and serves the communities of Oxford, Taylor, and Abbeville. The school was founded in 1959 and currently enrolls around 1,200 students in grades 9-12. At Lafayette County High School, students have the opportunity to participate in a range of activities and programs. Academically, the school offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses, dual enrollment courses, and a variety of electives. Students can also participate in a variety of extracurricular activities, including athletics, clubs, and organizations. The school is committed to providing a safe, supportive environment for all students. The faculty and staff are dedicated to helping students reach their full potential and prepare for college and career success. The school also has a strong focus on community service, with students participating in a variety of volunteer activities throughout the year.
