About Washington High School

Washington High School is a public high school located in the heart of Washington, DC. The school was established in 1891 and is one of the oldest schools in the city. It is a part of the DC Public School System and is one of the largest high schools in the district.
The school offers a wide range of academic and extracurricular activities. It has a strong academic program with a variety of electives and advanced placement courses. The school also offers a wide range of sports and clubs, including football, basketball, soccer, and track and field.
Washington High School is known for its commitment to excellence. It has been recognized by the US Department of Education for its high academic achievement and has been named a National Blue Ribbon School. The school also has a strong sense of community, with a variety of student-run organizations, clubs, and activities.
