About Tucson Country Day School
Tucson Country Day School (TCDS) is a private, independent, non-denominational school in Tucson, Arizona. Founded in 1978, TCDS provides a quality education for children in grades K-8. Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing environment that encourages each student to reach their fullest potential.
At TCDS, we provide a challenging academic program that emphasizes critical thinking, problem solving, and creativity. Our curriculum is designed to meet the needs of each individual student, and our teachers use a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of the whole child. We also offer a wide range of extracurricular activities and athletics, including art, music, drama, and sports.
At TCDS, we strive to create a learning environment where students are valued, respected, and supported in their individual learning styles. We believe that each student is unique, and we strive to help each student reach their highest potential. We also emphasize the importance of developing strong interpersonal relationships and developing a sense of community among our students.
