About The Farm At Mission Montessori Academy

The Farm at Mission Montessori Academy is a unique educational experience for students of all ages. Located on a working farm in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, the Farm provides students with a hands-on learning experience in sustainable agriculture, animal husbandry, and environmental stewardship.
From the moment students arrive, they are immersed in the farm’s culture of respect for the land, animals, and each other. Through experiential learning activities, students gain an understanding of the natural world, while developing a strong sense of responsibility for their own actions.
The Farm at Mission Montessori Academy offers a variety of educational programs and activities, including field trips, farm-to-table dinners, and the opportunity to learn about sustainable farming practices. Students also have the chance to work with animals and participate in a variety of crafts, such as weaving, woodworking, and basket making.
At the Farm, students gain a deep appreciation for the environment and learn to be stewards of the land. Through their time at the Farm, students develop a greater understanding of the interconnectedness of all living things and a greater respect for the natural world.
