South Mountain High School is a public high school located in Phoenix, Arizona. It is part of the Phoenix Union High School District and is one of the largest high schools in the state. The school was established in 1949 and has since grown to serve over 3,000 students. South Mountain High School is known for its diverse student body, with students from over 70 countries and cultures represented.
The school offers a wide range of academic programs, including Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses, as well as a variety of extracurricular activities. South Mountain High School also has a strong athletic program, with teams competing in basketball, baseball, softball, soccer, track and field, and other sports.
