The school was established in 1966 and is currently home to over 2,000 students. Mesquite High School is dedicated to providing a quality education to its students, and it offers a wide range of academic, athletic, and extracurricular activities. The school offers a variety of Advanced Placement courses, as well as career and technical education programs. Mesquite High School also has a strong athletic program, with teams competing in football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, track and field, and cross country.
