About Desert Mountain High School
Desert Mountain High School is a public high school in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is part of the Scottsdale Unified School District and serves students in grades nine through twelve. The school opened in 1993 and is located on a sprawling, 320-acre campus in the foothills of the McDowell Mountains.
Desert Mountain High School is known for its rigorous academic programs and strong extracurricular activities. The school offers a variety of Advanced Placement (AP) courses, as well as a range of electives and extracurricular activities. These include a variety of sports, clubs, and organizations.
Desert Mountain High School also has a strong focus on the arts. The school has a full-time theater program and a variety of visual and performing arts classes. The school also has a strong music program, with a variety of musical ensembles, including a marching band.
Desert Mountain High School is committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all of its students. The school has a diverse student body, and a dedicated staff that works hard to ensure that all students are given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
