About Desert Marigold School

Desert Marigold School is an innovative, independent K-8 school located in the heart of the desert in Tucson, Arizona. Our mission is to foster a love of learning, cultivate creative and critical thinking, and nurture a sense of social and environmental responsibility.
At Desert Marigold School, we believe that education should be a joyful and meaningful experience. Our teachers strive to create an engaging and supportive learning environment that encourages children to explore their own interests and develop their individual potential. We use a project-based learning approach that allows students to investigate topics that are meaningful to them and develop their skills in collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.
We also recognize the importance of fostering a sense of community and connection with the environment. Our school is committed to teaching students the importance of sustainability and responsible stewardship of the natural world. We offer a variety of outdoor activities and field trips that allow students to explore and appreciate the desert environment.
