About Combs High School
Combs High School is a public high school located in San Tan Valley, Arizona. The school serves grades nine through twelve and is part of the J.O. Combs Unified School District. The school was opened in the fall of 2008 and is named after the late J.O. Combs, a former Arizona state legislator and a leader in education.
At Combs High School, students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of academic, athletic, and extracurricular activities. The school offers a variety of Advanced Placement (AP) and honors courses, as well as career and technical education programs. Additionally, the school has a comprehensive fine arts program, which includes choir, band, orchestra, theatre, and visual arts classes.
The school also offers a variety of clubs and organizations, including student government, National Honor Society, and several service clubs. Students can also participate in sports, such as football, basketball, baseball, softball, volleyball, track and field, and cross country.
Combs High School is committed to providing students with a safe and supportive learning environment. The school has a strict anti-bullying policy and provides a variety of resources and support for students who are struggling with mental health issues. The school also provides a variety of social and emotional learning programs to help students develop the skills they need to be successful in college and the workplace.
