About Lewis Angapak Memorial School
Lewis Angapak Memorial School is a small, rural school located in the remote village of Kugluktuk, Nunavut. The school was established in 1998 as a way to honor the memory of the late Lewis Angapak, a beloved elder and respected leader in the community. The school serves students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 and is a vital part of the community.
The school strives to provide a quality education for all of its students, and its curriculum includes language, culture, and traditional Inuit knowledge. The school also offers a wide range of extracurricular activities, such as sports, music, and art.
