About Juneau Community Charter School
Juneau Community Charter School is an innovative educational institution located in the heart of Juneau, Alaska. Founded in 2016, the school offers a unique learning environment for students in grades K-8. At Juneau Community Charter School, we believe in providing a personalized learning experience for each student, with an emphasis on developing critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong foundation of knowledge.
We offer an interdisciplinary approach to learning, combining traditional classroom instruction with hands-on activities and projects. Our curriculum is based on the Alaska State Standards and includes mathematics, science, language arts, social studies, and the arts. We also provide a variety of extracurricular activities and community outreach programs, such as field trips, arts and crafts, and community service projects.
