About Ayaprun Elitnaurvik
Ayaprun Elitnaurvik is a school in the Yup’ik Eskimo village of Newtok, Alaska. Located on the banks of the Ninglick River in the Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta, Ayaprun Elitnaurvik serves students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The school is part of the Lower Kuskokwim School District and is the only school in Newtok. Ayaprun Elitnaurvik provides a culturally appropriate education for its students. The school follows the Yup’ik culture and language, and students are taught the traditional values and beliefs of the Yup’ik people. The school also offers a variety of academic courses, including English, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Physical Education. Ayaprun Elitnaurvik is committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for its students.
