About West Point High School
West Point High School is a public high school located in West Point, Mississippi. It is part of the Clay County School District and serves students in grades 9-12. The school was established in 1896 and is one of the oldest high schools in the state.
West Point High School offers a wide range of academic, athletic, and extracurricular activities for its students. The school offers a variety of courses, including Advanced Placement courses and dual-enrollment courses with the local community college. The school also offers numerous athletic programs, including football, basketball, baseball, softball, golf, track and field, cross country, and tennis. The school also offers a variety of clubs and organizations, including the National Honor Society, Student Council, and various service organizations.
West Point High School also has a strong commitment to the community. The school has been active in numerous community service projects, including a food drive, a toy drive, and a clothing drive. The school also works with local businesses to provide job opportunities for students.
