About Curry High School

Curry High School is a small, public high school located in the heart of rural Alabama. Established in 1977, Curry High School is a part of the Walker County School System and serves the students of Curry and the surrounding areas. Curry High School is known for its small, close-knit community, which creates a family-like atmosphere for both students and faculty.
Curry High School offers a wide range of academic programs, including Advanced Placement (AP) and dual enrollment courses. The school also offers a variety of extracurricular activities including athletics, clubs, and other activities. The school’s athletic teams, the Curry Cougars, are well-known in the area, having won several state championships in recent years.
Curry High School is dedicated to providing a safe, supportive learning environment for its students. The school has implemented a number of initiatives to ensure that students are provided with the best educational opportunities possible.
